keep dreaming

"Keep your dreams alive.
Understand to achieve anything requires faith and belief in
yourself, vision, hard work, determination, and dedication.
Remember all things are possible for those who believe."
-Gail Devers

Lately, I have been finding out the value of dreaming. Dream big. Dream little. Dream anything at all. Whatever the size they are, or however you dare, do it. Dream. Think outside of the box,  you don't always need to follow the yellow brick road.

Make them yours.

Ask yourself what you want out of life.

Is it waking up next the beach everyday? Grab a sleeping bag.
Start a new profession? Go back to school.
Sing in a band? Pick up a guitar.
vogliono imparare I'italiano? Find a tutor.
Build a dream house? Start digging.
Become an expert? Read, research, learn.

You are the master planner of your opportunities. Don't blame others, the economy, your circumstances. Don't make excuses. If you want it, go out and grab it. Or do anything and everything to grab it. Say for some awful and disappointing reason you fall short. Well hey, at least you can say that you tried. And you have a great story to tell.

No one else can do it for you.

All I know, is someday I am going to wake up old and gray, God willing, and I am going to smile at all I have done in my long life. All the wear I've put on my old bones. All the wrinkles I've etched into my tired face. But I will be satisfied, because I dreamed. And I wasn't afraid to make my dreams into tangible, beautiful, greatness.

What will you dream? Where will you go? Only you are author of that one delightful story.

and I'll do my looking back with my eyes closed."
