We are continuously learning. Sometimes tirelessly, relentlessly, in that dragging my feet because I'm not so sure I'm ready kind of way. But that's okay. Learning takes time.
Recently, I'm learning to find inspiration.
That kind of inspiration that finds you huddled up on the couch in front of dateline TV. It draws you near a box of odds and ends, an old leather journal, your favorite cup of tea, a candle lit on the table. You find your soul again. You know deep inside that you never lost it, it was always there. But it resurfaces. And you grab hold and fly.
I'm also learning to look at life a little more half-full. We may not have all that we put into our "picture perfect" mind mentality. There's a lot of curve balls out there. I had a cheer that I did as a kid "Rock, steady, our team is always ready...." I think that's the key. Rock, steady. It's all in how we present ourselves each day. Can you pace yourself? Can this hold on right now? How come we always walk like our feet can't walk fast enough? Maybe the world's not passing us by as fast as we think. Just maybe.
Other things I'm getting inspired by.
The small town of Madison.
Oh my god, if one could fall in love head over heals for a town.
Girl just fell.
I mean, just look at that sweat tea sipping porch.
Such a picture perfect day.
