Notice I said "feel" not "look", because down here in southern country, a white Christmas comes around every 100 years or so. If we're lucky. But, we are starting to feel this jolly time of year.
Last week we went to the Athens Christmas parade...
This cracked me up-storm troopers with Santa hats. Caleb. Went. Nuts.
And what Christmas parade would be complete without Santa and his sleigh. I don't care how old you are, there's a magic in the air when Santa's here.
And before he whisked away on his sleigh, pulled by the infamous eight reindeer, he was kind enough to light our town's Christmas tree.
Today we took a trip north, into the Georgia mountains, to visit Helen, GA. Otherwise known as the "little Bovarian village" or we called it "Christmastown."
It was such a neat place, and the kids loved all of the wonderful Christmas displays and lights.
Other than the preparations for one of my favorite times of year, we haven't been up to much.
I'll definitely be posting more on our Christmas decorating, celebrating, and traveling. Unfortunately, with this time of year, comes lots of colds and in my case sinus infection. Today's Happy Healthy Holiday tip...wash your hands!
Have a great weak!
