It is so wonderful that we have this one time a year, where we must sit and gather, and we must give thanks. We need this time to remember what we have, and what we can celebrate. Not just on this one day...but all year long.
We have so much to be thankful for.
Creative children...
Delicious food...
Football (what Thanksgiving is complete without it?)...
Laughter. Lots of laughter...
And a family that would not let the miles separate us...
Do you lack motivation?
Do you feel guilty for not going to the gym?
Do you buy exercise equipment, only to let it gather dust?
Do you want to be healthy, but never have the time?
Well, if this sounds like you, check out this website. Take the pledge.

I was watching TV one night. Sitting there on the couch, in front of the tube, and a commercial came on for this organization. It was kind of one of those moments, where I said to myself (and Mark, who was sitting next to me), "oh my goodness, that is me."
It follows a girl who constantly buys exercise equipment...who is on the ground nursing an injury while runners run by...who goes to an exercise class but doesn't fit in. I have been guilty of all of that, and so much more. All with good intentions, mind you. But the end result the same. I just don't stick with it. Well look no more.
Walking is something simple, yet satisfying. It burns calories. It doesn't wear you out. You can do it anywhere, anytime. And look around that website for the winter motivation that'll help you stick with it, even when the temperatures drop. You can do it in intervals. You can sneak it in. Park farther away in the parking lot. Take the stairs. Walk and talk on the phone.
It's amazing how better you feel afterward. My favorite, go outside and walk, and listen to some tunes. Therapy and exercise all rolled up into one.
Today, take the challenge. Get up and walk.
We hope ya'll had a Happy Thanksgiving!
May we all give thanks the whole year through...
