challenge: Day 28

Flowers.
I know technically these are not flowers, it's a tree. but I was scrambling today and found the brightest thing that caught my eye....er lens

This weekend was pretty low-key. And I love weekends like these. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the hustle and bustle. The getting out and getting about. But sometimes weekends need to be unstructured. They need to be lay in bed...extended wear of pj's...untimely meals. You know, no agenda, no punctuality police. Now we're talkin'.

And a perfect ending to a perfect weekend. Caleb's cub scout pack meeting. A skit, badges, and celebration.

We couldn't be more proud of our little cub scout.

And his littlest supporter.

We hope ya'll were able to relax, and enjoy your weekend too.

Now, on to the week ahead. Lots of work, lots of school, lots of play. And did I mention we have two birthdays to celebrate this week? Mark and Jess will be turning another year older (don't worry, another year wiser), and we'll have company this weekend with Dad and Jess coming into town to celebrate. We couldn't be more excited. Oh yeah, and I'm baking the infamous Burnt Caramel Cake for the occasion :)

Jealous??

Quote of the day:
"Parents can only give good advice or put them on the right paths, but the final forming of a person's character lies in their own hands."
