We made it to the beach house late Wednesday night, after I got off work. And from then on we've been in total chill mode.
Friday Mark's parents were so kind to let us have a "date day" and take the kids while Mark and I trekked out to Charleston, SC.
And of course, visited our other home...
...(yeah, right!)
We visited Fort Sumter...
There's a lot to love about Charleston...
...It's no wonder Rhett Butler retreated here.

Yesterday we decided to beat the heat and make an appearance at the beach...
