On Thursday night we enjoyed getting out and seeing the town's Holiday Parade. Lots of lights, songs…and the big man himself.
And the cutest cub scout you ever did see.

Someone else was really excited, pointing out all of the Christmas floats.
I'm going to frame this photo one day...
| seriously…they did this all themselves :) |
I. Die. Laughing. Every year my inner geek is jumping up and down.
Then there's Santa. He and Mrs. Claus come out early to the town parade to spread some North Pole magic.
They light up our town's tree.
For the most part we've finished with the Christmas decorating phases. Maybe a few pieces of felt and twinkly lights will pop up here and there. Christmas shopping is in full throttle, and the annual cards are starting to assemble. I love this time of year.
Right now we're enjoying…
Looking back at Christmas memories…this one a few years back, baking cookies with Papa and Grandma.
Foxgram. My new obsession. Printing Instagram photos (easy and cheap!) and posting them in random places. Because why not? Makes my heart smile seeing them everywhere :)
The magic of "Polar Express" night. Maybe someday we'll be able to ride the Blue Ridge train up in the mountains in our pajamas and drink hot chocolate and meet Santa. But for now we're content snuggling up in our living room and watching the movie together. Believe.
Hope y'all had a great weekend!!
