I think we can agree, this has been a pretty epic summer.
More trips than we've ever done.
More beach in the background, more palm trees, more water. It's something that we're proud of. This last summer before Mark graduates...we wanted to make it epic. Especially with the upcoming school year starting. We wanted something to look back on and smile.
Know that we took full advantage of no homework assignments. No soccer practice. Nothing on our minds except what the next adventure was going to be.
I think we can say, it's been a good run.
We just weren't ready for the finish line yet.
One more trip to the beach. One more hoorah before the book bags were packed and pencils were sharpened.
Let us take some deep breaths in this precious space between.
Sit back and watch the sky for a little while...the weather may be unpredictable, but it is enjoyable to just be able to let go and watch for a bit.
