a dream~

We bought our first house!

They really aren't kidding, there's a lot of paperwork to sign. And the waiting game is ridiculously merciless.

But like life, the wait is so worth it.

And that moment when you finally get handed those keys. I hope to never forget that moment.

This is where we'll watch the kids grow-their childhood home...

Where we'll make pancakes for Saturday morning breakfast... Easter bunnies, Christmas stockings, Thanksgiving feasts... family movie night... cookouts, sleepovers, hide and go seek, fort building in the living room... giggling-lots of giggling... pitter patter of littles feet and one day a puppy... walls that will display messy handmade art, pictures of my babies smiling growing faces... writing book reports, learning about the founding fathers, getting lost in a book... pouring coffee {or sweet tea} for visiting family and friends... impromptu dance contests... planting gardens... keeping up with traditions and establishing new ones...  making precious memories.

A happy place.

We've always had a home, but to now have a house to call a home. Such an amazing feeling to finally have. And no better place to finally put down some roots.

It really is a dream come true. Our happy dream.

Thank you to everyone that has helped us get to this point. We are forever grateful, and so thankful for all of you-your love and support.

We'll be moving for the rest of the weekend. But no worries, we're pacing ourselves and getting help so we can get us in without getting a heat stroke from this sudden warm weather we're having.
