This weekend we traveled up to Hartwell Lake for a little time with nature, otherwise known as scout family weekend.
We always like having an excuse to break out all the camping gear.
Not to mention s'mores...
We had a lot of fun with all the activities...hiking, swimming, learning about rocks, and wildlife. Oh, and fishing, we can't forget the fishing.
Katelynn enjoyed picking flowers.
All around there were smiles...lots and lots of smiles.
It's easy to do though when you're out in nature. Something about sleeping in it, waking up in it, and spending all of your time in it. It's such a great escape.
We have a big week ahead. More on that soon enough.
