I'm going to stay away from making a big general blanket statement something to the tune of "it's been another busy week..." Even if it's completely true.
We had visitors this week...Papa and Grandma Hain dropped in for a little quality time with us. It was wonderful but sad when they left. I love it when we have visitors but when they go it makes us more aware of the miles between us. Phrases like "hope you have a great birthday" gives me a reality check. Don't get me wrong, our move out here has been one of the best decisions we've made, but it makes me homesick when we can't see loved ones more often. We'll just have to get better about using the technology we do have to see those familiar faces.
Fall is settling in and with the changing leaves I'm getting in the mood for cozy things. This weekend is all about orange and yellow decor, using the bake setting on the oven and making sweaters and blankets accessible. I love all the seasons, but fall is definitely one of my favorites. Especially getting plans together for a cabin weekend up in the mountains. There we go...one of the reasons we made the move out here =)
