campin'

Sometimes, when I look back and think about the great moments of my childhood, I center around a certain theme. The Great Outdoors. We spent many a night camping, whether it be in my grandparents RV along Winfield Lake, or out in the Arkansas mountains in our tent. A lot of wonderful memories that we shared, memories I want to create for our own little ones.

This Labor Day weekend we took them camping.

There's just something about that fresh air, retreating into the wilderness. Even if it may be among wild things. It's all good, they know that you fit in there too in some way.

And it brings out some hidden away instincts...hunt...gather...you know, to make a fire.

It's all beautiful. Putting on the brakes in life, and letting Mother Nature know that you still know how to appreciate her.

It's also a great way to appreciate each other. Spending time with some of the ones you love.

(Thanks for joining us Jess & Tyler :)

Next time you're presented with an opportunity, seize The Great Outdoors. Make it your own, put time and effort into building those memories that will last you a lifetime.
