Can I just say one thing?
My brother, Kevin, is one talented guy.
We went out to watch him play at Lake Afton's Big Red Barn Hoedown. And let me just say one more thing, this guy, my talented brother, can play the bass guitar like it's nobody's business.
He's going to make it big someday, someday real soon. I know it.
We had some good fun hanging out, good family time.
You know the kind that you find yourself going in slow motion, because you know someday you'll look back and remember the great time you had.
Flying through the air...giving you the opportunity to get your feet off the ground.
Taking a moment to listen, giving us that rare opportunity to pause,
slowing our daily hastening pace.
Even if we don't pause for long
because we have places to go,
people to see,
things to do...
...at least we took the chance to give life another look.
That's all she asks of us.
To see her from a new perspective every once in a while.
So we can breathe in new air,
feel the fresh wind in our lungs,
look around ourselves at the beauty
and listen
to the wonderful new sounds.
